This museum is something quite special. It offers you the opportunity to learn about a world within a world. The Deaf community is just like any other group. We all have hopes and dreams and ambitions -- and most of all, we all have history. It is that history that tells the story of being Deaf in America. Unlike other museums, the William J. Marra Museum of Deaf History and Deaf Culture takes you back through a rich heritage, right up to the present day and then catapults you into the future. The Marra Museum introduces you to the Deaf culture and leaves you wanting more. Come, experience what it's like to live in a world where there is a "Different Way to Hear." We are a non-profit 501c3 Foundation. We offer group tours and special events by appointment. There is no admission fee but donations are greatly appreciated. Annual memberships are available starting at $50.00. For additional information on membership check out our Benefits and Purpose page. |
